HiLA™ Cytokine Detection Kits

HiLA™ Cytokine Detection Kits are high-performance chemiluminescent immunoassays designed for ultra-sensitive and quantitative detection of cytokines and immune biomarkers. These kits combine accuracy, speed, and simplicity, making them ideal for advanced immunology and inflammation research.

Overview

HiLA™ Kits utilize a bead-based sandwich chemiluminescent immunoassay technology that allows precise quantification of cytokines in complex biological matrices. The assay is optimized for high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, and minimal sample volume, ensuring reproducible results even at low analyte concentrations.

Key Advantages

Ultra-High Sensitivity

Detect cytokines at sub-pg/mL levels, enabling early detection of immune responses.

Wide Dynamic Range

Accurate quantification across broad concentration ranges without repeated dilutions.

No Washing Steps

Simplified workflow reduces hands-on time and minimizes experimental variability.

High Throughput

Compatible with automated platforms for large-scale screening and profiling.

Principle of the Assay

The HiLA™ assay is based on a bead-based sandwich immunoassay using chemiluminescent detection. The target cytokine is simultaneously captured by an F-conjugated antibody and a biotin-conjugated antibody, forming a sandwich complex.

This immune complex binds to acceptor beads and is subsequently incubated with streptavidin-coated donor beads. When the beads are brought within close proximity (<200 nm), excitation at 680 nm generates singlet oxygen, resulting in light emission at 615 nm. The emitted signal is directly proportional to the cytokine concentration.

Applications

  • Immunology and cytokine profiling
  • Inflammation and autoimmune disease research
  • Oncology and tumor microenvironment studies
  • Infectious disease research
  • Drug discovery and biomarker validation
